How I Spent My Easter Holiday Free Essays.
During my holidays, I am free to do what makes me happy. I love my holidays because they detach me from my studies temporarily. I enjoy myself during the holiday since I usually spend my holidays watching my favorite movies or soap operas’ episodes which I missed during the semester.
My last holiday. My last holiday was a five-day trip to Prague in the Czech Republic. I know Prague well because I lived there when I was at university, more than ten years ago. Instead of staying in a hotel, I stayed with one of my old friends. It was so much fun, and a little bit like my old life.
My grandparents house in Mexico was always filled with company. The company of all of my family and friends during the holiday season, the laughs that filled the living room, and the constant fun I had, made the stays at my grandparents house enjoyable. The holidays were always spent there and celebrated with Mexican traditions.
I fought I would be looking forward to come back to school, but I was wrong. I can say my holidays were one of the best in my life. The beginning was quite boring, but on the 15th of July I went with my parents and my family by the sea. We spent 3 weeks there! We lived at nice, but quite expensive hotel, I think.
I remember, for example, accomplishing a Certificate Paper in the winter holidays at the end of my second year in high school. Under a school policy that allowed the students to take some subjects early, I accomplished one of the papers with about an hour to spare and spent all of the time copying out the question paper whilst looking at Fifth formers still working on their answers.
Easter is one of the main events of the year for the Orthodox Christians and the most important Orthodox holiday. The word “Easter” comes from Greek and means “deliverance”. On this Holy Day we celebrate the deliverance of all mankind from the devil’s bondage through the sacrifice of Christ the Savior and the gift of eternal life and bliss.
My favorite holiday is Christmas. Traditionally celebrated at home, Christmas is thought to be a family holiday. However nowadays the habits and ideas of people have changed very much. Christmas becomes more of the global holiday when it is appropriate to meet with many friends and go out for the round the night crazy celebration.
